How the new Bain Nordique might look at Dot’s Parlour!

To make your stay at Le Tertre even more relaxing and memorable, we decided to add a little extra indulgence to Dot’s Parlour this autumn.

Inspired by Scandinavian bathing traditions, a ‘Bain Nordique’ is an outdoor bathing tub where the water is heated traditionally by a wood-burning stove. Unlike a more modern hot-tub or jacuzzi this option focusses on still, warm water to calmly ease away your aches and pains as oppose to noisy bubbles and aggressive massage jets.

The newly added decking that houses the tub has been positioned with privacy in mind. Experience the soothing warm water, feeling the cool Normandy air on your face, surrounded by peaceful countryside.

Whether it’s a cool autumn evening or a crisp winters morning, the tub is an invitation to slow down, switch off and simply enjoy being here.

A warm soak can help you unwind and ease ay feelings of tense, tired muscles, especially after a day exploring! Add the spectacular clear starry skies we experience here and you’ve got something pretty special to remember from your stay.
