Dog Friendly Normandy

We all have different ideas about what a good holiday is when we take the dogs along but one thing’s for sure, a calm, relaxed dog means happy, content owners.
With two ‘spirited’ Rhodesian Ridgebacks we know this as well as anyone so this journal is about making sure you and your dog have a great time during your stay in Normandy…
Visiting Normandy in Autumn

The changing colours of this most beautiful season wave their magic wand across the landscape. You might think you’d never been before!

There’s an air of excitement as we transition from the hot summer days and nights to the more agreeable ‘temps d’automne’, maybe because we know the cosy season will soon be upon us!…
Exploring Swiss Normandy from the Comfort of the Bocage

Exploring Normandy on La Vélo Francette
La Vélo Francette (‘France in miniature’) is the cycle route from Normandy (Caen) to La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast that as the name suggests, perfectly captures the essence of France.
If you were to describe the perfect cycle route this might just be it, with very little climbing or traffic, miles of smooth tarmac, greenways and towpaths plus a string of picture postcard villages and towns along the way.
Lucky for us it passes very close by to Le Tertre and from what we’ve seen of it so far we’re keen to explore it further…
