New Visitors at Le Tertre!
We’ve been so excited this month to see new visitors to the fields and gardens at Le Tertre!
Most days now we’re seeing Red Squirrels visiting the garden, no doubt enjoying the abundance of Walnuts and Hazelnuts and stocking up for the winter ahead! We even had one on the decking behind the Farmhouse! We’d love to get some pictures but sometimes it’s nice to just enjoy the moment rather than rushing to get your phone.
Every morning whilst walking the dogs in the lanes we’re seeing small groups of Red Deer. They make an incredible sight slowly walking across the horizon in the morning sun. We took a walk into the fields behind the gîtes one evening last week and saw three in the trees too! Definitely bring your binoculars for wildlife spotting this autumn!
