Verity Beeching - Dog Sitting Services

We understand that from time to time during your stay, you may wish to enjoy an activity or visit somewhere that just isn’t suitable for your four-legged companion.

We are happy to put you in touch with a local independent dog-sitting service should you require one during your stay.

A few things to know…

Please note:

Verity has 5 dogs of all shapes and sizes so meal-times are busy in her house!

If you need Verity’s help during your stay, please let me know in the usual way and i can put you in touch to discuss your needs

The service is charged at €20 per hour. No card payment facilities are available so please have euros available to pay at the end of the stay.

The dog-sitter will stay with your dog in your cottage at Le Tertre for the agreed length of time.

A pre-visit is required where the sitter can meet your dog(s) to discuss your dog’s individual needs, health, temperament and any special requirements before confirming the booking.

Visibly poorly dogs should not be left with the sitter and she is not able to administer medication.

  • The Dog-Sitting service is provided independently by a third party and is not operated, managed or employed by Le Tertre Farmhouse and Gîtes or the owners
  • Any arrangements, bookings and payments are made directly between the guest and the dog sitter.
  • Le Tertre Farmhouse and Gîtes and its owners acts solely as a point of introduction and accepts no responsibility for the provision of the dog-sitting service, the care or supervision of animals, or any loss, injury, damage or dispute arising from the arrangement.
  • Guests are responsible making their own enquiries, satisfying themselves as to the suitability of the service and agreeing all arrangements directly with the service provider. 
  • Your specific requirements, dog’s individual needs, health and temperament should be discussed with the sitter before making a booking.
